I’ve been thinking about how deeply this incident must have impacted Johnnie Jones' family. Losing someone so young and full of potential in such a violent way is unfathomable. I can't imagine the shock and pain his family and friends must still be experiencing, even years later. It must be incredibly difficult to find any sense of peace after such a loss. The fact that social media was used to facilitate this tragedy is especially chilling. It’s a reminder of how these platforms can sometimes play a role in very dark events, and how vigilant we all need to be in our online interactions. My thoughts are with the Jones family, and I hope they find some comfort in knowing that others are thinking of Johnnie and hoping for a safer community.

Has anyone else been following the tech angle of the case? It's so chilling how social media played such a pivotal role in the events leading up to the tragedy. I can't stop thinking about how Demorion Little and Antaveon Bernard Le'Vell Kent utilized platforms like Facebook to scope out their targets. It's terrifying that something meant to connect us can also be used for such malicious purposes. My heart goes out to the families of Johnnie Jones and Kortlin Williams—no one should have to endure this kind of pain. It seems like we need more awareness about the dark sides of social media, especially when it comes to young people who might not realize how they can be exploited. What do you all think should be done to make digital spaces safer?
