I've been thinking a lot about Ethan William Sandhu's case, especially the kind of person he was in his community. It's clear that he left such a significant impact on those around him, even at such a young age. I’m particularly moved by how he was a "friend to the friendless." That phrase keeps sticking with me. You don’t come across people like that very often, folks who genuinely go out of their way to lift others up, especially those who might otherwise be overlooked.
It's just so disheartening to think about all the positive change and joy he brought to others, and how that was suddenly taken away. With everything Ethan stood for and fought for, it feels incredibly unjust that his life was cut short. Communities need more people like him, and it's devastating to lose someone with such a bright spirit.
If any of you are in the St. Louis area, how are the local efforts shaping up to keep Ethan’s advocacy alive? Are there specific events or gatherings happening to both honor his memory and push for the justice he deserves? It would be comforting to know that people are still rallying around his causes, amplifying his voice even though he’s not here to do it himself.
