I can't stop thinking about the kind of person Darryl Franks was and how he impacted those around him. While reading about his murder, I came across a mention that he used to coach a local youth basketball team. It breaks my heart to imagine those kids looking up to him, now left without their mentor. It's stories like these that remind me of how much more gun violence takes away than just the immediate victim. Darryl's role in the community, supporting and inspiring kids to stay active, speaks volumes about his character. I genuinely hope someone with information will step up, not just for Darryl but for the countless lives he touched. His family and friends deserve answers, and the kids he coached deserve to see justice prevail.
