I’ve been reading a lot about Derrez Green’s case, and I can't get over how senseless it all is. One thing that caught my attention is the location—5300 block of Persimmon Trail. It seems like a quiet spot, yet this happened in broad daylight. It makes me wonder if there were any possible security cameras nearby or maybe even witnesses who haven’t come forward yet.
It's beyond frustrating seeing the community left without answers and knowing there's a family out there missing a loved one. I really hope someone who was in the area that day, or anyone who might have seen something, finds the courage to contact the TIPS Hotline. It’s crucial we support Derrez’s family during this unimaginable time and do whatever we can to help bring them some form of justice. Let's keep talking about this and not let Derrez’s name be forgotten.

It's been almost two years, and still no updates on Derrez Green's murder? I can't even imagine the pain his family is going through, waiting for answers that never seem to come. It breaks my spirit knowing that his loved ones have to endure this long stretch of uncertainty.
