Has anyone else been thinking about the impact of the legal system on cases like Natasha Selby's? I've been following her story and can't stop thinking about how the plea deal resulted in what feels like a short sentence for Robert Shelton. I know each case is complex and has multiple facets to consider, but this outcome just doesn't sit right with me. It's hard to reconcile a 10-year sentence with a life taken so abruptly. I hope Natasha's family finds some solace and that her story serves as a catalyst for deeper discussions about domestic violence and necessary reforms in how these cases are handled legally. Sending lots of love and strength to her loved ones during such a difficult time. What are everyone else's thoughts on this?

I can't stop thinking about Natasha's story and how much more awareness it brings to the issue of domestic violence. It’s really concerning that there are still so many complexities in handling these cases in the justice system. It makes me wonder what more can be done for victims who often find themselves in dangerous situations with no easy way out. Ten years doesn’t seem like enough for a life lost and the impact it has on Natasha’s loved ones. ? I hope that her family is finding some support and comfort during this difficult time, and that they know that people are advocating for change in her memory. What do you all think could be done at a community level to prevent such tragic events from happening again?
