Anderson was working and living in Page, Arizona. He left from Page for his days off. He told his supervisor that he was going to visit his daughter in Kaibeto, Arizona (07-14-15, 2023) then go onward to Chinle, Arizona to visit his family. On July 16, 2023, Anderson's car was on fire along side State Route 98 near Kaibeto, Arizona. Navajo Police was dispatched to the call. They did not locate anyone around or in the area of the vehicle.
