In the spring of 1979, a young man named Marshall James McMillan, aged 19, vanished from the waters of Lakebay, Washington. On April 9th, while visiting his parents from college, Marshall and some friends decided to enjoy a day on the water. The plan was for Marshall to take his parents' small sailboat to Penrose State Park, while his friends paddled alongside in canoes.
