Robert White, age 52, went missing after a kayaking trip in the Carson River near Brunswick Canyon on July 2, 2023. White and his companion, James Eugene Martin, were last seen that day when they set off on the river. They were expected to return the same day, but after receiving no contact, both men were reported missing on July 5. Authorities found their vehicle in the Brunswick Canyon area, but there was no immediate sign of the men.
