Eri Yamaguchi, a 24-year-old woman from Norman, Oklahoma, was last seen on May 15, 2004. Eri, originally from Japan, was living in an apartment in Norman at the time of her disappearance. Her apartment manager reported her missing after noticing that while Eri had paid her rent for May, no one had seen or heard from her in nearly a month.
