Lottie Albertha Wise, a 91-year-old woman suffering from advanced Alzheimer's disease, disappeared from her residence on Venus Drive in Titusville, Florida, on January 10, 2006. She was living with her daughter at the time, having moved in six months earlier. Lottie was last seen at 9:25 p.m. when she walked out of the house while her daughter was in the shower. Despite an alarm system notifying her daughter that the door had opened, Lottie vanished before she could be found.
Lottie was known to have a pleasant and polite demeanor, and despite her Alzheimer's, she remained physically mobile. On the night of her disappearance, she was wearing a brown zip-up jacket with a beige leaf design, a white blouse, green pants, and tan shoes. She did not take her purse with her, which further complicates the situation. Extensive searches were conducted in the surrounding area, but no trace of Lottie has been found. Given her medical condition, it is believed she may have become confused and wandered without seeking help. Her case remains unsolved.
