In the winter of 2020, a 55-year-old man named Kamal Mohammad Ali-Quasem Alhalah went about his day in Knoxville, Tennessee, not knowing it would be the last time he was seen by those who knew him. On February 11th, he was at his place of work. As the evening approached, around 6:30 PM, he mentioned to a co-worker that he was heading to the store.
