In the spring of 2020, 39-year-old Yamil A. Melendez-Ortiz vanished from his home in Zion, Illinois, leaving behind a concerned family and a community searching for answers. On April 23rd, he was last seen leaving his family's residence located in the 3200 block of Enoch Avenue. According to reports, he walked away from the home on foot, dressed in a white sweatshirt.
