Lani Stella Uribes, a 57-year-old woman, was last seen on August 2, 2020, in the Reche Canyon area of Colton, California. At around 3:30 a.m., she rang her neighbor’s doorbell and was captured on a Ring camera briefly waiting before leaving. Shortly after, her vehicle, a 2000 Toyota RAV4, was seen driving out of the neighborhood. About four and a half hours later, her car was found abandoned on Cleghorn Ridge Road near Cajon Pass, a remote dirt road off Interstate 15. Inside the car, authorities discovered her personal belongings, including her purse, phone, and shoes. Despite extensive searches in the area, no further trace of her has been found.

Lani’s family expressed concerns about her mental health in the period leading up to her disappearance, but they are still seeking answers regarding what happened. The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department continues to investigate, and a reward is being offered for information leading to her whereabouts.
