Sydney Kaitlyn West, a 19-year-old originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, disappeared on September 30, 2020, while in San Francisco, California. She had taken a rideshare to Crissy Field near the Golden Gate Bridge, a place she often visited to exercise and take photographs. She was last seen on surveillance footage around 6:45 a.m. walking towards the bridge, but due to foggy conditions, much of the camera footage was obscured.
