Ted Melancon, a 74-year-old man, went missing on October 7, 2020, from Yucca Valley, California. He left his residence in Victorville around 6:00 AM, driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra and accompanied by his cat. Ted did not take his cell phone or favorite hat. That same day, he made two bank card transactions, one at a grocery store in Victorville and another at a convenience store near Landers.
