Gary Forbes, aged 47, was last seen on September 8, 2011, in Niagara Falls, New York. His disappearance is shrouded in mystery, with some authorities suspecting that he may have taken his own life. Forbes was known to frequent both the U.S. and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls. At the time, he was seen driving a white electric scooter while wearing a blue helmet, and it was considered unusual for him to go more than a couple of days without contacting his family.
