On September 8, 2011, 47-year-old Gary Forbes was last seen in Niagara Falls, New York. At the time of his disappearance, it was known that he often visited both the American and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls. It was considered out of character for him to not be in contact with his family for more than a couple of days. When he was last seen, he was reportedly driving a white electric scooter and wearing a blue helmet.
