Dean Allen Harvey, a 49-year-old crab fisherman, was last seen on November 25, 2014, when he set out from Burroughs Bay near Anacortes, Washington, to check his crab pots. Harvey, who was a member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, was crabbing alone that day while his brother was on a separate boat. He was not wearing a personal flotation device. Later that day, after he failed to return, his brother alerted authorities. The Coast Guard and other search teams conducted an extensive search.
