Melissa Lane, a 41-year-old woman, was last seen on June 15, 2020, in Pine Cove, California, a mountainous area near Idyllwild. According to reports, Melissa was dropped off by her cousin at the trailhead to Black Mountain Road. Although she was an avid hiker familiar with the area, it is unclear whether she had intended to hike that day, as she didn't have a cellphone or backpack with her.
