On the evening of December 21, 2020, 24-year-old Anthony "Tony" Paul Navakas was at his home in the 1000 block of West 13th Place in Hobart, Indiana. Following a verbal disagreement with his sister, Anthony left the residence on foot sometime after 7:00 p.m. He departed without taking any personal belongings, such as a cell phone or extra clothing.
