In the spring of 2021, a young woman named Scarlett Joy Blanco vanished from Kankakee, Illinois, leaving behind a deepening mystery and a family desperate for answers. On May 7, 2021, the 19-year-old was last seen leaving a residence on Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee. She reportedly had plans to travel to the nearby town of Momence, but there is no indication that she ever reached her destination.
