In the spring of 2021, concern grew for the well-being of 16-year-old Jaylen Scales. He was last seen in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the circumstances surrounding his departure were troubling. Jaylen was described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds.
