John "Jack" Stein, a 24-year-old male from Minnesota, went missing on July 13, 2021, in Agoura Hills, California. Jack was staying at a treatment facility called Inspire Malibu, located in the 3700 block of Kanan Road, after experiencing a mental health crisis earlier that year. He walked out of the facility at approximately 7:45 p.m. without his phone or identification, and he has not been seen since.
Jack was described as 6'3" tall, weighing 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with "Tommy Hilfiger" printed down the sleeve, a gray long-sleeve shirt, black shorts, and gray Nike sneakers. Jack also has two distinctive tattoos: a sparrow on his right thigh and circles on his chest.
Jack's family believes he may have been trying to return to Minnesota, where they reside. Despite extensive searches, his whereabouts remain unknown, and his case is classified as endangered due to his medical conditions, including depression and bipolar disorder. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the case, urging anyone with information to come forward.
