David Dareing, a 52-year-old man from Knoxville, Tennessee, was last seen on August 1, 2021. At the time of his disappearance, he was staying at a sober living facility. Dareing reportedly left the facility that day, intending to visit his brother in Richmond, Virginia. He was driving a white 2005 Land Rover with Texas tags, which was later spotted in the Chesapeake, Virginia area on August 6, 2021.
