Dennis Laudenklos, 30, was last seen on May 19, 1973, while canoeing with his roommate on the North Platte River. The pair started their trip in Torrington, Wyoming, and planned to travel down the river to Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Around 7:00 p.m. that evening, their canoe overturned after hitting an irrigation diversion dam near Henry, Nebraska.
