Jesse James Myers, a 36-year-old man, was last seen on July 11, 1983, in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. On the night of his disappearance, Myers left home around 9:35 p.m. after receiving a phone call from an unidentified individual asking to meet with him. He never returned home or contacted his family again.
