In the summer of 2020, 36-year-old Luke Penton embarked on a cross-country motorcycle trip, leaving his home in Waltham, Massachusetts. For a time, he kept in touch with his family, sharing glimpses of his journey. The last piece of direct communication his family received was a postcard sent from Oregon, which they got on September 24, 2020.
