Thomas Campana, age 37, was last seen on February 27, 2022, when he and his girlfriend, Alexandra Tufo, were flying a small Vans RV-12 airplane from Palm Beach to Key West. Their plane went missing near Big Pine Key. After an extensive 72-hour search involving the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies, debris from the aircraft was found approximately 15 miles north of Big Pine Key. Despite recovery efforts, the couple remains missing, and the case was officially suspended by the Coast Guard.
