Jance Varela, a 40-year-old man from Fort Collins, Colorado, was last seen on May 26, 2022. Jance was struggling with a serious medical condition, having been diagnosed with a brain tumor just before his disappearance. He also battled homelessness and opioid addiction, which added complexity to the search efforts. His last known sighting was at a bowling alley in the Fort Collins/Loveland area on June 1, 2022, several days after he was last reported in contact with family.
