Charlotte Denese Doles, a 19-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, was last seen on June 21, 1983. On the night of her disappearance, she had gone to a movie theater near the Regency Square Mall with her boyfriend. According to her boyfriend, they had an argument during the evening, and he claimed to have left her at the theater. Afterward, Doles was never heard from again. Her disappearance raised immediate concerns, as she left behind a three-year-old son.
