Henry Charles Salvatori, aged 23, was last seen on January 24, 1990, in West Palm Beach, Florida. A student pilot, Salvatori was on a routine training flight with his flight instructor and friend, Michael Mergen. The pair departed from Palm Beach International Airport in a Cessna 152 at 7:23 p.m. in clear weather, carrying enough fuel for three hours. They were practicing landings at Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana but never returned to their starting point.
