In the spring of 2025, a sense of unease settled over a Clarksville, Tennessee community when 14-year-old Sulmi Caal-Pec, a female student at Northwest High School, was reported missing. The last confirmed sighting of Sulmi was on May 15, 2025, at her school. When she did not return home, concern grew, and her case was officially reported to the Clarksville Police Department. Described as a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 4'11" and weighing approximately 100 pounds, her sudden disappearance prompted immediate action from law enforcement and a plea to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts.

The Clarksville Police Department initiated an investigation, classifying Sulmi as a runaway juvenile and reaching out to the community for assistance. Detective Herring was assigned to the case, and his contact information was circulated with the hope that someone might come forward with a crucial piece of information. Alerts were issued, and her photograph and description were shared across various platforms, painting a picture of a young girl whose absence was deeply felt. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation also became involved, amplifying the call for public awareness and assistance in the search for the missing teen.

As days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, the search for Sulmi continued. Various organizations dedicated to finding missing children shared her story, ensuring that her face and the details of her case remained in the public eye. Despite these efforts, information about what happened to Sulmi after she was last seen at her high school has remained scarce.
