Jesse Bussey, a 39-year-old U.S. Army soldier, was last seen on September 3, 1996, in Schweinfurt, Germany. At the time, Bussey was stationed there and was observed fueling his 1991 Toyota MR2 at a military facility. His disappearance occurred just before he was convicted in absentia during a court-martial for multiple serious charges, including rape, attempted rape, indecent assault, and obstruction of justice.
