On May 2, 2021, Nathan Zuk was reported missing by family when he did not return from a boat trip. In mid-December 2020, Nathan departed from his family residence in Whaletown, British Columbia, in a 14-foot skiff rowboat. He was thought to be en route to a location near the Pryce Channel, Deer Passage and or Toba Inlet in British Columbia.
