Patrick Ukrainetz departed his mother's house in St. Isidore, Ontario which he did periodically, but he always returned. On December 26, 2001, he was captured on a video surveillance camera at a bank in St. Sauveur, in the Province of Quebec. Since that time there hasn't been any other activity on that bank account.
