In the late afternoon of August 31, 2016, 27-year-old Jami Susan Gillian Springer was seen walking along McLaughlin Drive in Moncton, New Brunswick. This would be the last confirmed sighting of her. Later that evening, she sent a text message to her boyfriend, saying she would be home in about an hour, but she never arrived.
