Laura Leticia Ramirez, age 26, was last seen on December 27, 2002, in South Padre Island, Texas. Her disappearance is tied to her son, Allen McPeak, who had already gone missing in August 2001 from Mission, Texas. Both mother and son were reportedly last seen in the company of Henry Francis Claeys, a man with whom Ramirez may have been traveling. Claeys, who was 41 at the time, was described as Caucasian, and photos of him have been circulated as part of the investigation.
