On a cold winter day in Edmonton, Alberta, six-year-old Tania Marie Murrell vanished while walking the short distance from her school to her home for lunch. It was January 20, 1983, when the first-grade student left Grovenor Elementary School around 11:00 a.m. for the anticipated midday meal.
