Jorge Damian Mendoza, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, went missing on July 18, 2008, from Oakdale, California. He was last seen preparing to visit family across the border in Tijuana, Mexico. Jorge was driving a white 1995 Chevrolet Lumina with the California license plate 3LEC902. Despite his intentions to travel to Mexico, Jorge never reached his destination and has not been heard from since.

At the time of his disappearance, Jorge stood 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighed about 180 pounds, and had distinguishing characteristics, including a scar on his right elbow. He was also known to wear a brown beaded necklace with a cross. The circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear, and very few details have emerged over the years.
