On June 18, 1966, Kimberley Mclean was seen for the last time in Whiteshell Provincial Park in Rennie, Manitoba. That day, Kimberley and her mother had attended Camp Alloway for a staff picnic. Upon their arrival, Kimberley changed into her bathing suit and went to the dock area. Five minutes later, Kimberley's mother went down to the dock with some cookies for her daughter, but was unable to find her.
