On November 26, 2012, a relative of Jean-Marc Lavallée called the Roussillon inter-municipal police to check on Jean-Marc at his residence in La Prairie, Québec. The police found that Jean-Marc was not at his residence and his vehicle was not in the parking lot. The police took numerous steps to locate Jean-Marc, but he remains missing and was seen for the last time on November 25, 2012.
