In the autumn of 2011, concern began to grow for 48-year-old Anthony Porter, a member of the Gila River Indian Community. The last confirmed contact anyone had with Anthony was on September 15, 2011, in Sacaton, Arizona. He was known to live a transient lifestyle within the community and relied on a wheelchair for mobility. His family grew worried when he did not appear to collect his monthly welfare check, which was mailed to his aunt's home, and they could no longer get in touch with him. ...
