On August 2, 1989, Ronald Jack last spoke with his mother. During that telephone discussion, Ronald had informed her that he and his wife, Doreen Jack, would be leaving for a “camp job”. He had also said that they would be gone for approximately 10 days, and would be back before their sons, Russell and Ryan Jack, started their school year in September.
