Alim Hasan was last seen by his mother in Burnaby on March 21, 1990, when he was returning to his residence in Edmonton via Grey Hound Bus. Alim had a history of mental illness. On April 6, 1990, an unknown person left one of Alim’s luggage at the front door of Hope RCMP Detachment.
