On February 2, 2008, Christopher Hargitt, a resident of Vernon, BC, drove from Vernon to Vancouver. He was last seen by an associate, who was dropped off by Mr. Hargitt near the PNE Fairgrounds. On March 6, 2008, Christopher's vehicle was found unoccupied in East Vancouver, and he has made no contact with family or friends since that time. It is believed that Christopher may have run afoul of individuals involved in criminal activity, or fled the country to avoid these same persons.
