In the early summer of 1974, a 27-year-old man named Brian Guberman, who was living in Edmonton, Alberta, seemed to be on the cusp of a new adventure. A creative and educated individual, Brian had moved to Edmonton from his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the previous year to work in social services for the Big Sister's Organization.
