In the autumn of 1997, a 29-year-old woman named Judy Isabel Desjarlais vanished from her home in Edmonton, Alberta. The last time anyone is known to have seen her was in October of that year at her residence. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as having black hair, and brown eyes, and a distinguishing mole on her chin.
