In the early hours of November 2, 2017, Melissa Blais, a 34-year-old mother of two from Yamachiche, Quebec, vanished without a trace from the nearby town of Louiseville. A real estate agent and part-time bartender, she was a familiar face in her community. On the evening of her disappearance, she had been out with friends, visiting a few local bars.
