In the spring of 2026, the community of Lakeland, Florida, was filled with concern for the welfare of a local teenager. On April 10, 2026, 14-year-old Zion Mikhai Rice was reported missing. At the time of his disappearance, Zion was described as a Black / African American male, standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes.
