A person had spotted her body in the water along the roadway in the 4500 block of Bainbridge Boulevard, prompting a response from the Chesapeake Police Under Water Search and Recovery Team. The discovery brought a tragic end to the search for Jamile Johnay Hill. The case is a sorrowful reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by individuals with cognitive and mental health challenges. Her coach expressed the wish that she be remembered as the joyful and kind person she was.
