Fourteen-year-old Debra Moore, who also goes by the nickname "Dawn," has been missing from Highlands, Texas since July 20, 2025. She was last seen around 11:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Clear Lake Road. At the time of her disappearance, Debra was 14 years old and is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Some reports mention she has a distinctive mole on her left cheek.
Debra left a note at home indicating that she was unhappy with how she was being treated and was going to a friend's house with the intention of returning the next day. However, she did not return. Her aunt and legal guardian, Jessica Wall, reported her missing after discovering stuffed animals under the covers in her bed to make it appear as though she were asleep. The family has been actively searching for her, putting up flyers, and checking her social media accounts, but have found no solid leads regarding her whereabouts.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating Debra's disappearance. Her case has received media attention, and in an effort to generate new leads, her image has been featured on digital billboards in the Houston area through a partnership between the Texas Center for the Missing and Clear Channel Outdoor. Authorities and her family are concerned for her well-being, with her aunt expressing worry that she may have been communicating with older individuals online. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Debra Moore is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-274-9270 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.Last Seen: Jul 20, 2025
